Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actor who has appeared in a variety of television shows. VanCamp also has a great record in the film industry. She is popular on both Canadian and American TV. Emily began to become interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie at the film set. When Emily realized her love for acting, she began acting classes and attended auditions. Initially she bagged a few commercials and was soon cast in the Canadian children's television show Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? She was only seen in only one scene and without dialogue. The first time she was seen on screen was around the age of 15 when she was cast in the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a professional dancer also a photographer, and was listed as one of Teen's top 20 actors. She was ranked at number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
